  1. This census taker would consistently write the head of household on one line, then put the family number on the next line, so all of ancestry.com’s transcriptions are off, probably other services, too.

    I’ve been through that entire census and it is consistent. Isaac is living with his family, don’t worry about him. 🙂

    He’s my ggg-grandfather.
