Making Sense of the Census (Fording the Langs, at Present)

Mary Ann Eliza (Cherry) Ottey Lankford (b. abt. 1816, KY, m. Benjamin D. Lankford), of Warren County, Kentucky

PARENTS: “Langford & Lankford Families in Kentucky,” posted on, information credited to Jerry L. Hare (not his line), names Mary Ann Eliza Cherry’s parents as “William B. Cherry and Francis Taylor.” –shb 4 Apr 2006

1850 CENSUS–“MARY ANN” IS AGE FORTY, BORN IN KENTUCKY, LIVING WITH HUSBAND, “BENJAMIN D. LANKFORD” AND SIX CHILDREN, IN WARREN COUNTY, KENTUCKY. By my calculation, the last four children listed in this census are Mary Ann’s. (See notes of husband, Benjamin D. Lankford, for census detail.) –shb 11 Mar 2006

1860 CENSUS–“MARY LANKFORD” IS AGE FIFTY, LIVING WITH SON BY HER FIRST MARRIAGE, “JAMES OTEY,” AGE TWENTY-THREE, AND FIVE LANKFORD SONS BY HER SECOND MARRIAGE [TO BENJAMIN D. LANKFORD–SHB]. 1. I comment whenever I like a article on a site or if I have something
to valuable to contribute to the conversation. Usually it is a result of the fire communicated
in the post I read. And on this article Mary Ann Eliza (Cherry) Ottey Lankford (b.
abt. 1816, KY, m. Benjamin D. Lankford), of Warren County, Kentucky Sherlene\s G-LOG.
I was actually moved enough to post a thought 😛 I actually do
have a couple of questions for you if it’s okay. Could it be simply me or do a few of the remarks come across like they are left by brain dead people? 😛 And, if you are writing on additional online social sites, I’d like to keep
up with you. Would you list the complete urls of your community pages like your twitter feed,
    Facebook page or linkedin profile?
